Ok... so I spelled "CARE" provider wrong... so it looks like "CAR" provider... hehe... my bad.

So this is a post about my brother. I am his full-time car provider.... i.e. I do everything from giving him pills, to giving him a shower, to taking him shopping... I think you get the point. :) He is sweet most of the time. Everyone thinks he is a cutie. Soooooo since I started doing this full time I had decided to cut out a lot of movie watching and computer playing and am trying to come up with "stimulating activities" for the little maestro. The other day I bought him a model airplane that we put together... together.... and then later on he made dinner for mommy... and it really was good!!! :) Here are a couple of pics from those activities.

Things Happenin'

Well... lots of things have been happenin' around here in good ol' NH.
Saturday I found out the name of my little neice who is gonna be born in just a few short weeks. It is (drum roll please)... Alana Hope Riis. Isn't that beautiful? My mom looked it up and it means something like "little rock" soooo her name basically means "little rock of hope" which I think is really cool. I am so excited to meet her. I love her already.
Sunday we started Evangelisitc Meetings with Tom Farrell. I had forgotten what a powerful preacher he is. Last night he talked about the church in Revelation that had "left her first love"... not "lost" it... "LEFT" it. He gave five characteristics of Christians who have left their first love.. Christ. I thought I was doing ok but he pointed out some things that I have seen in my own life that showed me that I HAD left my first love. I got that right and it was amazing the change that I felt. I made the commitment to go back to my first love and to make Christ the PASSION of my life. This week could be really life changing... it already has been.

Did you ever want to know what you looked like when you were sleeping??? I always did... so tonight... I took a pic of myself. Hehehe... I'm weird. So... here's what I look like when I am sleeping... although... if you ask my roommates from this summer... they would tell you that I am not always looking sweet and peaceful in my bed... I have wandering tendencies!! :)

This has become my all time FAVORITE picture. A man from my church sent me the link to this pic because he and I had been dsicussing photography and stuff. The website made comments about the contrast of the background which is "Old World" and the dress which is "Modern World" and the other thing pointed out was how the photographer "cut" the womans' head from the picture but the face is almost representative.... this is a cool pic!!!

Can you believe it... I have posted twice in ONE day!! Amazing.

Do you ever find that when you go to the Dr. they find about 10 more things wrong with you than you originally went in for??? Yes, folks... I have finally had this wonderful experience!!! I was just utterly flabbergasted to find that well... the whole ME is out of whack!! If my brother wasn't studying to be a Dr. I might be tempted to go on and on about that particular field of study... but he is... so.. I'm not.
Sorry friends... no pics to put on here yet... but sometime I will find the time to actually put something interesting on here... but feel free to comment on your experiences with Drs. and their findings!!! :)
